            The lively and award-winning Aviv String Quartet is the resident quartet at the Upper Galilee Chamber Music 
Festival at Kfar Blum and performs at major venues throughout Israel, Europe and the U.S.  Their awards include first prize and the prestigious critic’s Prize at the Concourse International de Quatour A Cordes de Bordeaux in 2003.   They also took Special Interpretation Prize for Schubert’s “Death and the Maiden” and 2^nd prize in the 2003 International Competition Franz Schubert at the Music of Modernity Graz-Austria.  Aviv members have played at
the Royal Academy of Music in London and performed under the direction of Isaac Stern and with members of the
Emerson and Juilliard Quartets.
