Russian (RUSS)

The following courses in Russian are offered by the Department of Foreign Languages.

110, 120 Elementary Russian I, II (3, 3)
The course begins with an introduction to the Russian sound system and to the Cyrillic alphabet. It provides a basic foundation in understanding written and spoken Russian and elementary skill in speaking and writing. Classroom instruction and laboratory practice. Completion of RUSS 120 satisfies the foreign language General Education requirement. See department chair.
