we are able to offer a variety of services to help meet your
personnel needs.
Serving
as a clearinghouse for information on internships and other job
opportunities, the UNCA
Career Center can work with companies and community
organizations to develop and promote opportunities for students.
Please contact us to ask questions or to publicize your
opportunities to the campus community.

appreciate your consideration of UNCA students and alumni for your
positions. We would be happy to work with you to publicize
your opportunities.

Do you have a
full-time or part-time job or internship that you would like to
post?

OPPORTUNITY POSTING REQUEST FORM
Save
the file to your computer and send as an attachment via e-mail to
the UNCA Career Center at career@unca.edu. We will post your opportunity on our online career
resource center, eRecruiting. If you have questions, please feel free to contact
us at 251-6515. Step
2. Employers MUST notify the Career Center when you
fill the position. Contact Christi Bates at career@unca.edu
with the information. This ensures that the
posting is removed from our site. In particular, we need to
know the name of any UNCA students you have hired. Posting a
position with the UNCA Career Center constitutes an agreement to do

Step
1.
Determine if your position qualifies as a structured Internship
Opportunity. Download and Read the
Internship
Information Sheet. Internships provide valuable opportunities for students (freshmen
through seniors) to test out career options and/or to gain work
experience in their chosen field. An
internship
is defined as any carefully monitored work or service experience in
which an individual has intentional learning goals and reflects
actively on what he or she is learning throughout the experience.
These learning goals may include Academic Learning, Career
Development, Skill Development, and Personal Development.
Academic credit (typically 1-3 hours) may be available for an
internship depending on the student's department at UNCA. Step
2. Complete
an Opportunity Posting Request Form and we will post
the opportunity on our online career resource center, eRecruiting. Save
the file to your computer and send as an attachment via e-mail to
hwaltemyer@unca.edu. Step
3. Contact Holly Waltemyer at
hwaltemyer@unca.edu when
you have filled an internship. This ensures that the
posting is removed from our site. In particular, we need to
