Co-Sponsored by the UNC Asheville Career Center, Leadership Scholars, Alumni Office, Athletics Department, Student Activities and Integrative Learning, Senior Board, Programming Board and Campus Recreation

The UNC Asheville and Asheville area community members are invited to learn how to live more authentically and to align their goals with their life vision.  Join us for various programs about setting intention and living the life you were meant to live. 

These programs will be FREE, open to the public, and facilitated by Asheville entrepreneurial and experiential-learning leaders.  The only exception is the Business and Social Networking Seminar which is a UNC Asheville student only event.

Motivational Speaker and Live Acoustic Music

Adair and Chris Cates, Synergy Shift

Get revved up and excited about life in this musical/motivational presentation with Adair and her award-winning, musician husband Chris. Learn how to let go of limiting beliefs, create a vision for what you want to be, do and have and identify action steps to take you where you want to go! Healthy snacks and refreshments provided.

Horses on the New Hall Green! 

An Equine-Assisted Learning Experience

Shannon Knapp, Horse Sense of the Carolinas, Inc.

Join the instructors from Horse Sense of the Carolinas, Inc. in this exciting and unique experiential learning exercise. By playing with horses, we can learn the most valuable of lessons: that by changing ourselves, we do have the ability to change the world around us. Refreshments provided.

Putting Your Best Foot Forward: The Feldenkrais Method of Movement Technology

Discover a body/mind approach that will take you inside your posture, your gestures and even your stated intentions leaving you more focused, more relaxed and more aware of how to move ahead toward your goals in life. The Feldenkrais (rhymes with Paradise) Method is a movement technology developed over 40 years of research to help anyone stand taller, look more elegant and think more clearly.  Please dress comfortably.
