Informational Interview

Objective:
Learners will be able to contact and conduct an informational interview with a professional working in a position of personal interest to them.

Directions:

2. Select a professional to interview
    

3. Arrange for an informational interview (Try to do the interview in person, however, by phone will be acceptable.  Do not conduct your informational interview by email.)
    

4. Prepare for the informational interview
    

5. Conduct the informational interview
    

6. Complete the Informational Interview/Career Exploration handout  by typing notes from the interview. 
    

7. Turn in the Informational Interview/Career Exploration handout in class on the assigned due date or email before class to hwaltemy@unca.edu
