Vance Hall, located in Governors Village on University Heights, houses the Campus Police. The department is staffed 24 hours a day seven days a week and provides the following services: crime prevention programs, vehicle assistance, enforcement of N.C. General Statutes and university regulations, registration of vehicles and issuance of parking permits, lost and found, general campus information and a student escort service.
