Faculty and Staff The biology faculty includes specialists in the fields of vertebrate and invertebrate zoology, animal behavior, conservation biology, botany, herpetology, ecology and evolution, human anatomy and physiology, animal and plant physiology, cellular and developmental biology, and genetics. Most faculty members currently have grant support for research projects (many of which involve undergraduates), and they regularly publish their scholarship in scientific journals.
