Ride the Campus Shuttle!

Fall 2008!! The shuttle is designed for Commuter students that live close to the campus. The shuttle will provide free transportation between UNCA and local apartment complexes like the Grove, Mountain Trace, Pinnacle Ridge and University Place.

The shuttle will operate from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. |

Shuttle schedule

To catch the shuttle:
1. Stand at a posted Shuttle stop location (look for a sign)
2. Get on and ride!

The UNCA Shuttle will stop at each location on the route every 20 minutes.  The shuttle will pick up and drop off passengers at signed and posted stops at most parking lots, buildings, and places of interest on campus. See campus map for details.

One shuttle will travel around University Heights (B), exiting the UNCA campus via Reuters Center (giving access to the Sam Millar Complex).  This shuttle would then continue on to Zilicoa Street, stopping at the Grove Apartments (A).  It would then return to campus via Campus Drive, completing the looped-route (B-C-F-G-H, etc.).

The second shuttle will exit the UNCA campus (A) via Edgewood Rd. The shuttle would remain on Edgewood Rd., passing by students’ apartments, including: Mountain Trace Apartments (B), University Place Apartments (C), and Pinnacle Ridge Apartments, (D).  To complete the route, the shuttle would then return to circle around University Heights.

The University is considering operating this shuttle for the entirety of the 2008-2009 academic year.  In order to improve the shuttle route for next year, please send any feedback, comments and critiques our way via the Contact page.
