For only $25 per year (in
addition to the regular plate fees), you can show your support of UNC Asheville
every time you're on the road! For another $30, the plate can even be
personalized. Fifteen dollars of each fee is returned to UNC Asheville
annually to support outreach programs such as the e-newsletter, Homecoming,
regional events, and more!

As required by North Carolina
law, the first 300 applications and fees must be collected by the University
before the plates are manufactured. Once those applications & fees are
received, the DMV will print the tags and contact applicants directly about
picking up their new tags. The DMV will give you credit for any time
remaining on your current tag.

apply and pay online by either credit/debit card or check. Simply click on

On-Line Application and Payment
Please note that the
application will ask for specific pieces of information such as your Vehicle
Identification Number, Auto
Insurance Policy Number, Current Plate Number and Drivers License Number. All
but the Drivers License Number is on your
Vehicle Registration Card
