World of Work in Chicago:  The Alumni Office and Career Center would like to give a special thanks to the many Chicago-area alumni, and alumni around the country, who helped us host students for an alternative Spring Break trip to Chicago in which they explored careers in the Windy City. We are looking forward to traveling to Charlotte and Atlanta in 2008-09.

Were you a student of Management & Accounting Professor Nancy Kauffman?  During her career Dr. Kaufman, now retired, took individual photos of all of her students. Nancy thought her former students might enjoy an “historic” photograph of themselves. Just drop her a note directly at the following addresses:

Annual Giving Program News

Spring Fundraising Campaign Continues:  Over the next few weeks you will be contacted asking for support of UNC Asheville. Your financial investment in the University helps your Alma Mater continue to offer one of the nation’s leading liberal arts educations. Although state support for higher education remains strong in North Carolina, state dollars account for only 42 percent of the University’s budget and tuition only 19 percent. The difference is made up through the generous support and investment of alumni and friends. Please consider making a contribution when you hear from us, or put your gift to work today and make your donation online.
