Annual Giving Program News
Alumni Campaign Wrapping Up:
We are wrapping up the Alumni campaign for the academic
year. We appreciate the generosity of those who have
already supported their alma mater this year, but are
still slightly short of our goal. If you have not yet
made a gift in support of the Chancellor's Excellence
Fund or another campus department this academic year,
you will receive a reminder in the next few weeks.
Alumni support is important because it fills in the gaps
between tuition and state support, collectively
accounting for approximately 19 percent of the
University's operating budget. Gifts to the Chancellor's
Excellence Fund provide vital resources for the
University's greatest needs. Please consider making a
contribution when you hear from us, or put your gift to
work today by giving online at
www.unca.edu/onlinegiving. Questions? Contact
annualgiving@unca.edu.
