The Department of Geography and Planning at Appalachian State University is offering a Certificate in Community and Regional Planning at the Asheville Graduate Center, beginning fall semester 2007.
Certification in Community and Regional Planning requires an 18-hour program of study that prepares graduates for employment in a variety of job markets, including public and private opportunities such as city, county, regional, state and federal agencies; private consulting firms; utility and airline companies; research; and international organizations. Appalachian State University is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.
