UNC Asheville is meeting with community leaders to determine the structure for State of Black Asheville in 2010.

For 2009, UNC Asheville is assisting in hosting the visit of Dr. Mindy Fullilove author of the book Root Shock: How Tearing Up City Neighborhoods Hurts America, and What We Can Do About It) on Feb. 27 – March 1.
