Find Your Advisees

This option is available only to faculty & staff designated as official academic advisors.

If you are full-time faculty or staff and want to serve as an academic advisor, please contact us to sign up to attend a training session.

1. Log into OnePort

2. Select the Faculty tab

3. Choose Academic Services

4. Click "continue" under Banner Services

5. Choose Faculty Services

6. Select "Advisee Listing"

7. When prompted, choose the current term

What you will see

The advising listing in OnePort gives you important information about your current advisees, including their contact information, student ID number, and Registration Access Number (RAN), which changes every semester.

Take Note

For the first 2 weeks of each semester, we change the setting in OnePort to expand your advisee listing from currently enrolled students to all students who have you listed as their advisor. We do this so that students who have not yet registered for the semester have an advisor they can go to for help. After the end of Drop/Add, your advisee list will shrink back down to only include the students actively enrolled in the semester.
