OnePort is not an online course management tool; moodle is a separate program used for this purpose.
Logging into OnePort for the first time?
Go to the OnePort login page and click "First Time Login" to get started. You will get your user name and UNC Asheville ID number when you begin working at UNC Asheville.
Permanent faculty - you will receive your information from Elaine Warren.
Adjunct faculty - you will receive your information from Cindy Reagan.
New staff - you will get your user name and ID number from Human Resources.

Effective with Final Grade Submissions for the Spring 2011 semester: If you are recording a grade of F or U for a student, you must also enter the Last Attend Date. The Last Attend Date has been an optional field before the most recent Banner upgrade release. It is now required by federal regulations for Financial Aid in order to determine the amount of funding that the student must repay. The Last Attend Date should be the last date on record that the student attended your class and must be recorded whether the student earned the F or U due to poor performance or non-attendance. If the student attended the entire semester, you would record the last date of exams. It is important to understand that the Last Attend Date is required before your grade submission can be saved. If you enter all your grades and forget to record the Last Attend Date for any F's or U's, none of the grades will be saved.
