UNC Asheville's Advising and Learning Support office offers Study Skills Tutoring as a free service to all currently enrolled UNC Asheville students.

What is Study Skills Tutoring?

Study Skills tutoring focuses on the foundational skills students need to acquire and utilize in order to reach their full academic potential. It differs from the University Peer Tutoring program in the sense that it focuses on study skills instead of information content. Our intention is to equip you with the necessary study skills to employ regardless of whether you are tackling Chemistry, Humanities, or Mathematics courses this semester! Some of the study skills we will focus on include:

If you are interested in improving your approach to your academic work, come by OneStop Student Services to receive more information about this program. You will be given an application form to complete so we can schedule a time for you to meet with one of our Study Skills Tutors.
