SOAR 2012 is scheduled for June 17 - July 27, 2012!

It's time to start looking at the things you and your family need to do and know to get you ready for SOAR. The information below, in addition to your SOAR Checklist, will help you prepare for the summer. On the checklist, pay special attention the Immunization Records (due June 5). You cannot attend classes if your immunization records aren't complete.

Submit your Student Information Packet (due June 1)

• What You Should Know About Me You also got this in the mail. If you've already submitted one, you don't have to send another.
• Emergency Contact and Medical Needs Form This information will remain confidential and be destroyed at the end of SOAR.

Submit Your Liability Waivers (due June 1st)

• We will send you one final packet that will include these forms, which will become the property of UNC Asheville Outdoors and cover multiple activities during SOAR.

Remember: if you will not be age 18 by June 17, your parent or guardian must also sign the liability waivers.

• Plan when you want to purchase textbooks. Books may be purchased from the UNC Asheville bookstore or from your preferred book retailer. Why wait to buy them until you get here? All profits from our bookstore go directly scholarships for UNC Asheville students!
