Complete your FAFSA to apply for Financial Aid.

Priority Filing deadline is Nov. 1. Awards will not be made until you submit your deposit (see below).

Submit your tuition deposit.

Return the Deposit Form you received in your admittance letter to Admissions by Dec. 15.

Complete your Housing Application and submit your housing deposit.

Submit the online application by Dec. 15 and mail your deposit to Housing.

RSVP for embark new student orientation.

RSVP online by Jan. 4.

Register your parents or other guests for Parent Orientation.

RSVP online by Jan. 4.

Send us your Immunization records.

Records must be received by Dec. 4. You can submit immunization information from military records, transcripts from previous schools or a signed letter from your physician to satisfy this requirement. Your records must be received and complete before you will be allowed to register for classes during embark.

Enter your user name and UNC Asheville ID number from your admittance letter here to get started.

Send all transcripts from your high school, AP or IB scores, or college credit to UNC Asheville.

If you are currently enrolled at another school, request an updated transcript be sent to UNC Asheville at the end of this semester. This will help ensure we have all your transfer credits and will assist in your advising experience during embark. Check in OnePort to see what credits you have already been awarded.

Pre-pay your tuition and fees.

To ensure a smooth registration process, pay your anticipated tuition and fee costs before embark.

Review Academic Planning Resources.

If you're prepared when you arrive at embark, you'll have a smooth registration process.

Review your Degree Progress Report (DegPAR).

DegPAR will help you begin to plan which classes to take in the Spring.

Review the embark schedule.

Plan to arrive early and stay late-there's a lot to get done during orientation!

Make sure you'll arrive at embark on time.

Review the directions to campus, the campus map and area accommodations as you make travel plans.

Embark is the first and most important step in becoming a Bulldog and is required for student success at UNC Asheville.

At embark, you’ll learn about academics and campus resources, meet other new students and with an academic advisor, and register for classes.
