Congratulations on your acceptance as a freshman for Fall 2008!
We have admitted you to UNC Asheville because of your exceptional academic performance and civic engagement, and we hope that you decide that UNC Asheville is the best place for you to continue your academic and life pursuits. Once you have decided that UNC Asheville is the university you would like to attend, you will need to submit your tuition and housing deposit.
Once you have submitted your deposit, you'll need to RSVP for Summit Orientation Phase One, which will be held Friday June 13, Monday June 16, or Friday June 20.
During Summit Phase One, you will learn about the services, programs, and people that will help you make your time at UNC Asheville a successful and positive experience. You will also have the opportunity to meet with an academic advisor, with whom you will review your academic history and goals and plan your Fall 2008 schedule. After you meet with your advisor, you will begin registering for classes online through OnePort. You can find the Summit RSVP form, with other helpful links, on the "Quick Links" menu to the right.
Summit Orientation Phase Two, which takes place in August before classes begin, will give you further opportunity to get acquainted with the people, places, and resources that will support you throughout your time at UNC Asheville. This program begins on Friday August 15 when all new freshmen will move into their residence halls, and continues until classes start on Tuesday August 19.
