Greetings! My name is
Megan Robertson, an Admissions Representative for UNC-Asheville. I
graduated from UNC-Asheville in May of 2007, majoring in Psychology with
a minor in Sociology. I loved every minute of my time on this campus
that I just could not get away from the place. I grew up in the
mountains of Boone, NC so coming to Asheville was an ideal choice! This
city has so much to offer; I especially love the music scene here and
hanging out downtown.
During my time at UNCA
I made a point to get involved with campus activities such as being an
Ambassador, Freshmen Orientation Leader, Intern for the Student
Activities Office, played intramural soccer and studied abroad to Cork,
Ireland during the fall semester of my senior year. I just returned
from living in Ireland for the second time, and I’m thrilled to be
representing my alma mater throughout North Carolina. The liberal arts
education I received is priceless and more useful for life after college
than I could have ever imagined. I’m eager to share with you the
positive academic and social experiences I gained from this fine
institution.
