Adjunct (Part-Time) Faculty Positions

Adjunct faculty needs are determined within each individual department.  Positions are requested from and approved by the appropriate program area Dean each academic semester.  The typical adjunct teaches one or two courses for a total of 6-8 semester hours.  Teaching loads of greater than 8 semester hours must be approved by the appropriate Dean and the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs.  Applications and contracts are handled by Cindy Reagan, Office of the Deans.  Adjunct faculty are not eligible for employee benefits.

For information on whether an adjunct position is available, please contact the chair of the appropriate department.  Contact information is available through the academic department websites.
