The Chief
Information
Officer (CIO) has the responsibility to develop and advance the university's
information systems, and to advise the Provost on matters related to
information technology. The CIO supervises the technology infrastructure,
instructional and office technology purchases, library holdings, and all
information technology policies and procedures including copyright compliance. The CIO has oversight of the Office of
Information Technology Services (www.unca.edu/compcenter/)
and the D. Hiden Ramsey Library (http://bullpup.lib.unca.edu/library/ ).
