Financial Aid Important Dates & Deadlines
- November 1, 2009
- Office of Financial Aid begins awarding for Spring 2010.
- November 15, 2009
- Entering Freshmen: Must have your admissions application in by this date to be considered for the Laurels Scholarship
- December 15, 2009
- Payments due to the Cashier’s Office for Spring semester charges. Students must be awarded and have completed all paperwork in order for financial aid to be applied toward their charges.
- December 21, 2009
- Fall Satisfactory Academic Progress determined for all students. Emails and letter sent to all students on “Warning” and “Cancel”.
- January 1, 2010
- Earliest date you may file a FAFSA for the 2010-2011 academic year.
- January 13, 2010
- Refund checks will not be available prior to the first day of class (NC State Grants are NOT included in this batch of refund checks).
- January 21, 2010
- Enrollment hours are locked on the last day of Drop/Add for financial aid purposes.
- January 29, 2010
- Refund checks available from any NC State Grant.
- Mid-February 2010
- FAFSA Day (exact date TBA). Students and parents may receive help in filing a FAFSA.
- March 1, 2010
- Priority Filing Deadline for
the 2010-2011 FAFSA. To be considered for the most aid
possible, please have your FAFSA filed by this date.
